We here at Garden Girl Flowers love all the seasons, but especially spring!
As all the locally grown flowers are starting to bloom, and my garden is starting to pop up new and wonderful blooms. I just finished planting all my sweet pea seeds ( approximately) 30 varieties! They are a family favorite started by my Grandma, Mom, My Sister and I, and now our Daughters.
Sweet peas are the smell of spring to me, and always remind me of family. They grow so profusely I am always gifting them to neighbors, pharmacists and anyone I come across that needs a thank you or instant pick me up. Of course we use them in our bouquets this time of year along with anemones, poppies, and hyacinths. Tulips, narcissus, grape hyacinths, are all right around the corner. Nothing says I care about you better than these gorgeous happy blooms!
Spring Bulb Garden
You can also give the gift of spring bulbs. Our Spring Bulb Garden is an excellent gift that can be planted out in the garden after they have finished blooming to come back larger and with more blooms year after year. I encourage you to plant some spring seeds yourself even if just in a pot on your patio. There is nothing quite so joyful as watching your seeds grow into beautiful flowers!
